My new go-to facial

Before the treatment came the consultation. I arrived at the Beauty Nook not really knowing what to expect. I had spoken with Michelle a few weeks before, and she had suggested some options based on my skin goals and the photos I'd sent her. Funny to think we had never met, yet she knew more about my skin that I did, lol! My treatment started out with an amazing cleansing to brighten and purify my skin and pores. After that, I was treated to an incredible smelling Enzyme peel - this helps to remove dead skin cells and help cells to return to their peak condition. It felt a bit tingly but not in a bad way and was left on the skin for about 10 minutes. Then she moved on to the Aquaglow portion of the treatment, which is like a very gentle version of microneedling. I didn't need any numbing or anything and it was very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone even if you're afraid of needles. My downtime was minimal, in fact I went out the next afternoon for a birthday lunch on a sunny patio so all I wore was tinted sunscreen and my friends all said my skin looked gorgeous! Now it's been about six weeks and I've been using the products that Michelle sent me home with, I can honestly say I am hooked. My skin looks the best it has since before puberty. I rarely get spots, my skin tone is more even, less oily, brighter. My fine lines have shrunk. Most incredibly, friends, colleagues, and even my boyfriend comment positively on my skin. I’ve gone from hiding my hormonal breakouts behind my hair to proudly showing off my complexion. Sometimes I don’t even bother wearing foundation; I don’t really need to. My skin is that good.
