COLUMBIA SKINCARE - Probiotic Complex

Take a small “pearl sized” amount and warm in between your ring and index fingers, gently press into the skin of the face and neck.

Use daily (AM & PM) for an all-over treatment for proper skin maintenance. When used as recommended our Probiotic.

Aqua (deionized water) – Purified water.

Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil – A natural vegetable oil which helps absorption.

Lactic Acid – A natural exfoliants derived from milk.

Glyceryl Stearate – this is a naturally occurring organic molecule found in the body as a by-product of the breakdown of fats. It is used to help stabilize the formula.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter - A natural moisturizing factor, this ingredient helps keep the intercellular structure of the epidermis intact, and effectively keeps pathogenic bacteria out, facilitates the skin’s healing process, prevents dermal irritation and regenerates the skin.

Methylpropanediol – An organic glycol, this is used to help the formula penetrate the skin.

Vegetable Glycerin – A naturally derived emulsifier, this helps keep the skin hydrated, while enhancing the absorption of our complex into the skin.

Xanthan Gum – A naturally derived stabilizer that helps maintain the proper viscosity in our formula.

Panthenol (Vitamin B-5) - This vitamin improves hydration and also helps to reduce inflammation and itching from dry skin.

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate(Vitamin C) – This is oil-soluble form of Vitamin C. We use it because of its ability to increase collagen levels, reduce melanin production, and repair the effects of UV exposure and other environmental damage.

Dimethyl Isosorbide - This ester is used to improve the dermal penetration of our overall formula.

Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate - This dynamic form of Vitamin A has the efficacy of Retin-A, but without the need for a prescription. In addition and perhaps more importantly, it is not associated with the potential irritation that is often caused by using Retin-A.

Phenoxyethanol - This a glycol ether and bactericide has natural antiseptic and antibiotic properties. It is used as a preservative because of its ability to neutralize pathogenic bacteria and stabilize formulas, extending their shelf life and making them safe for use .

Disodium EDTA – This ingredient contains strong antioxidant properties and it also helps the overall absorption of our complex into the skin.
