This water-based benzoyl peroxide gel penetrates the pore where it fights acne-causing bacteria, helps unclog pores and keeps them from clogging. It is recommended for skin prone to inflamed acne and non-inflamed acne.
Apply a layer of Face Reality Hydrabalance under your Acne Med to prevent excess dryness. Face Reality Acne Med is stronger than over-the-counter products. Start with a lower percentage and work up.
Apply a thin layer to the entire blemish-prone area. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes a day at first and increase wearing time gradually until medication can be tolerated all night.
Slight irritation and dryness is normal and temporary.
*Do not apply creams or lotions over your Acne Med. This will interfere with the benzoyl peroxide. Using a gel is fine.
*If going outside, use a sunscreen. Allow the Acne Med to dry, then follow the direction in the sunscreen labeling.
*If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use.
Active Ingredient: Benzoyl Peroxide 5%.
Inactive Ingredients: Purified Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide.
