Face Reality Acne Med 2.5% is a water-based gel containing 2.5% benzoyl peroxide that penetrates the pore where it fights acne-causing bacteria, helps unclog pores, and keeps them from clogging. Acne Med 2.5% is the appropriate strength for sensitive, dry, mature skin skin types. This is the strength that we recommend for rosacea with pustules.


•Benzoyl peroxide helps reduce the bacteria that causes acne and aids in peeling the inside of the pore.

•Glycerin: Moisturizes and lubricates the skin.

•Skin Conditions: 
Inflamed Acne, Non-inflamed Acne, Acne Rosacea.

Acne Med 2.5% is appropriate for dry skin, mature skin, or skin that is a 4 or higher on the Fitzpatrick scale.

This water-based benzoyl peroxide gel penetrates the pore where it fights acne-causing bacteria, helps unclog pores and keeps them from clogging. It is recommended for skin prone to inflamed acne, non-inflamed acne and acne rosacea.

Apply a thin layer to the entire blemish-prone area. Leave on for 15 to 30 minutes a day at first and increase wearing time gradually until medication can be tolerated all night. Slight irritation and dryness is normal and temporary.

*Do not apply creams or lotions over your Acne Med. This will interfere with the benzoyl peroxide. Using a gel is fine.

*If going outside, use a sunscreen. Allow the Acne Med to dry, then follow the direction in the sunscreen labeling.

*If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of the product and contact your Face Reality Acne Specialist immediately.
